Thick darkness that strangles the world
must immediately flee from your radiance!
Renew our hearts!

Send Your Spirit and make us strong!

Though the world hinders us,
let us press on through great tribulation,
until we reach the goal.
let us not allow our clothes
to become spotted with sin or guilt.

Let Your light shine in us, Lord!

Illuminate our way!
Ignite within us the fire of Your love,
and let it burn until we are perfectly clean.
Cleanse with the fire of love, let us live in truth!
